Madison’s Social Impact Initiative, Reach Hire, aims to help youth and young adults discover a career that fits their interests and aspirations. In addition, Madison will educate them on how they can turn those interests into a life of meaningful work. She shows others that it’s okay not to know exactly what you want to do, and that passions, interests and career paths may change over time. Reach Hire aims to eliminate the uneasy feeling that “what do you want to be when you grow up?” can bring. Madison has created fun and easy to use career planning presentations and tools, and her blog reachhireblog.com is a hub of information to educate, motivate and inspire!
Dance has always been a big part of Madison’s life, taking her first dance class at age 3! Madison has studied, tap, ballet, jazz, and lyrical dancing. She enjoyed dancing competitively for many years at a studio, and on her high school and college teams. Madison looks forward to performing a self-choreographed lyrical dance to a song near to her heart on the Miss Minnesota stage!
Madison actively volunteers in her community, and is passionate about ensuring that families have access to healthy foods. Madison is a “Give Healthy” ambassador for the Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank. She is a published author of the children’s book “Choosy Suzy and Lazy Larry”. All net proceeds from the book are donated to the food bank.
